Here. Here's a shoutbox. They told me to put that there.

Updates

October 14, 2008: Posted the index and prologue.

October 16, 2008: First three real chapters.

October 18, 2008: Two more chapters, and I think I dealt with the robot problem on the forums.

October 21, 2008: And five more chapters. Also, the robots continue to defy me and my "choose or perish" feature so I had to close down the forums again.

October 23, 2008: Three more chapters, including the renown opera scene. Also, we have a shoutbox, so I know who's reading this and uses shoutboxes.

October 24, 2008: Two more chapters.

October 30, 2008: Three more chapters. Sorry about the delay; I've been under a lot of stress lately, but everything is sorted out and the only thing I'm antsy about right now is the election.

October 31, 2008: The end.

November 1, 2008: Of high prices. Three chapters for the price of one!

November 3, 2008: And three more chapters.

November 4, 2008: Two more chapters. Some bonus content if Obama wins as well.

November 5, 2008: Two more chapters, along with a rant about King's Quest V. Bonus content coming soon, as soon as I talk to some others about doing it with me.

November 9, 2008: Three more chapters. Bonus content as well. Nothing to do with Final Fantasy VI. And it needs work.

November 11, 2008: End of the line. Expect an Esper Showcase in a few days, and some things non-Final Fantasy related.

Intro's in the prologue.

Anyway, if you've been keeping up with the Final Fantasy guides, you'll probably have anticipated it. This was supposed to go up some time in August, as the only Let's Play of this game was a horrible, horrible mess consisting of memes and other unfunny bollocks. So, who's to blame for this?

Sid Meier, for his Civilization II. If crack was put on a CD-ROM, this would be what it looks like.

And me, Yama, for getting burnt out by the whole renaming images thing. Just be glad I picked a game that I loved instead of Final Fantasy VII. I'll try that after FFV and maybe another RPG or two. I promise. I just want to know what the hell they were thinking. The rom was dumped in 2005 and made around the time of Advent Children, well after Famicom development had utterly ceased and Final Fantasy XII was on the horizon. I know we all want a Final Fantasy VII that's sprite-based as opposed to blocky Lego figure style, but would it hurt to make it for the Super Famicom instead?

By the way, it's above average as far as Chinese pirate carts go, but that's like saying that IOSYS is above average as far as doujin music groups go.
