An epilogue.
And we've won. It's not a terribly hard game, but it is a fun one. I hope you've enjoyed this, I'll see you in the Twelve Days of Wonky Roms. I'm just going to come out and say it. I need a break. I need to play through the next game and gather screenshots. Twelve Days of Wonky Roms won't take long. As long as I'm not forcing myself through shit like Plok. At least with Bart's Nightmare, I could breeze through each minigame in about ten minutes. My shameful secret? I never beat any of them. They're mindnumbingly terrible, all of them. |
OH, right, the Espers are beginning to fade from the world along with magic and Terra will fly away to help everyone escape. She's here no matter what. If you didn't get her or didn't bring her, she's here. Everyone else is only here depending on whether you got them or not. |
So begins the end. During this period of the ending, it shows this book and the character's theme plays, while a brief scene with them plays. If you don't get the character, it shows their home. |
Uh, no, it's a machine. |
Yeah, the technology is. |
as Setzer Gabbiani. This shows up no matteer what the character is named. |
Either he groped Celes or he swiped Celes' purse under the guise of sexually harassing her. |
Sometimes it happens with two characters at the same time. |
It's hard to take pictures where the dialogue doesn't pause until I press the button. He says "Now I know why I have these stupid muscles." afterwards and throws the construct aside, for he is Sabin, the Strongest Man in the World! No Sabin? Edgar: Where's Sabin when you need him...? Ladies first! |
Mog is symbolized as a wind up tree music box? Huh? |
Mog gets goosed with the hook afterwards. |
The moogles march towards a skull trophy, representing Umaro. |
Ayup. |
Gogo has a cool looking symbolic object. |
How do they ever get out without the rest of the party? The world may never know. Gogo falls into the hole afterwards and his eyes appear in the darkness. |
That's what you said when we got stuck! |
Locke and Celes at the same time too. Hmm, I think their themes sound rather similar. |
Titanic stole that scene! Anyway, speaking of Titanic, look up BarryDennen12's commentary on it. Hilarious, I tell you. Locke rubs the bandana in Edgar's face afterwards. This thing saved Celes! Dogs on the beach, pfah. |
You get a different scene here without Locke. SETZER: Don't fall! Remember, you promised me you'd do your "Maria" act again! |
Of course, this doesn't happen if you saved Cid. Not even a change in the ending. Spleck. |
As for the question of "what will happen to our friend Terra?" |
Oh, Terra has that, I guess. She wants to rebuild the world. |
You will probably be able to remain in this world as a human being... See why I complained about this? |
He has a new attack called CleanSweep. Had Strago been in this battle, he could learn it here. He's not that impressive otherwise, though. Meteor, quake, N. Cross, S. Cross, Flare Star. Take him down in 12 hits or else he'll flash yellow and use Ultima, but we know how to deal with that issue. Your reward is hollowing out his corpse and using it as a save point and nothing else. |
Relm and Strago do not appear at the same time. |
I missed a lot of this one, sorry. She's threatening to break the game and not show you the credits. Strago: No! Anything but that! |
Relm: ... ...but you know... Just once I'd really like to do a portrait of you ...on canvas, of course! |
It does not say Clyde Arrowny here, however, it does show a shuriken hit the apple. Kallisti. |
Shadow's suicidal, but he rethinks his life. |
In my day, when you won a game, the screen said THE END. None of this fancy stuff. If you were lucky, the ending would last ten seconds. And games were harder. The makers of Plok want a word with you. |
Terra is flying off, but for how long? |
This thing's going to blow! |
For some reason, I thought she named the baby Terra. Not here, though. Not officially. I don't count fan fiction, by the way, so don't bother pointing one out. |
And here are the credits. |
Everything's normal. |
Where the hell is this? Did the world reform itself after Kefka was destroyed and the statues vanished? Hey, Hirota, clool! |
A rare shot of the airship. |
Everything's still ruined when they go out to greet Terra and rebuild Thamasa. Anyway, that's the end. I'll give this 10/10 rabites. I mean, really, is there anything wrong with this game, aside from the bugs? The answer is no. Take care, it's been fun. I'll see you soon. |
